The location is awesome, you'll find everything nearby - tram stops, great restaurants, shops, and cool cultural spots. It's a lovely area with the city hall, a bustling market, and super convenient tram connections all around 🚋.

very pleasant staff and extraordinary friendliness. delicious breakfast!!!
it seems too expensive. 295 CHF for a small room with shower. more expensive than london. but to be fair hotels & restaurants in switzerland seem to be in general more expensive than in the uk, germany, austria and france.

The bed was fantastic and our room and bathroom were very spacious. Location in a groovy part of old town. Espresso machine in room was wonderful. Delicious breakfast with freshly cooked eggs to order. Views from rooms on third floor at the back of hotel were superb of the old town rooftops.
Parking lot was about 10 min walk away. Floors didnt have mats/rugs so our feet got a bit cold.

Excellent location on the cusp of the old town. Very good breakfast that was available until 13:00 on Sunday.
Not too fond of the photos but it's just personal taste. Next time I would try the art side of the hotel. Also a little noisy as the floors are beautiful wooden floors.

The location was perfect, right by the city centre at the back, and Basel and the old city, in a cozy area.

We had reserved a room but we were given a nice suite. The rooms and the bathroom were very clean with very modern furnitures. Althought the people at the reception were not very helpful, we had a great time in the restaurant of the hotel. Great breakfasts and a very nice selection of plates on the menu of the restaurant.
The hotel staff were not helpful at all!

Rooms were spacious for European standards and very nice bathroom. Comfortable beds.
I guess beinging an American and addicted to tv. I missed it. We did not spend that much timein the room so it turned out ok. Funny how you become additiced to something minor.

It's central location, spacey room and friendliness of the staff (also towards our youngest member).

The room was modern and brand-new, complete with a shower, a large bed. Got a perfect and wonderful breakfast included. Everyone we encountered was competent and service-oriented. the location was quiet, a tram stop was in front of the venue.

Room/suite was superb - loved the furniture / interior design. All staff were charming and extremely helpful. Liked the personal touches like the coffee machine and water and especially the little welcome postcard. Very interesting hotel with theatre and museum and courtyard. Wish we had been staying longer.
